The Start
Writing a book is the easy part. You create characters that are friends and ones that are not. (The brillian part is that they can be as evil as you want.) Along with the people are the places, scenes, emotions, thoughts... you get to create a world. It's really quite exciting.
With CLAMMING UP, I found the characters wrote the book. I had tried to write an outline - in fact a few of them. And as it turned out, they were no where near how the story ended up. Each day that I sat down to write, situations presented themselves and I just went along for the ride.
